The Mirion Technologies Health Physics Division has been awarded a contract to supply a wireless remote monitoring (WRM) teledosimetry system to the Shin Wolsung 1 nuclear power plant in South Korea operated by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power.

The WRM2, from Mirion’s MGP Instruments product line, is a Multi-Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum teledosimetry system for remote personnel and area monitoring applications. This compact, ruggedized system offers the flexibility of indoor or outdoor applications.
