Ohio-headquartered Overhoff Technology, a division of U.S. Nuclear Corp., recently received a set of orders worth $860,000 for air and process monitors that will be installed at facilities in three countries.
According to a release Wednesday, the equipment will be shipped to the Department of Energy's Los Alamos National Laboratories, Radiation Measurement Systems in Canada and Atomtec in China. The Chinese contract includes the TGMS multi-detector system specifically designed for that country's molten salt reactor project. Its detectors can quickly separate different radioactive materials and measure them in real time.
"These orders represent some of our newest advanced products as we continue to expand our reach. Additionally, we are pleased to be working with China's nuclear energy facilities as they move forward with efficient molten salt reactor technology," U.S. Nuclear CEO Robert Goldstein said in a release.
