Nuclear Street is proud to announce that AREVA's newly created corporate blog is now live and accessible to all Nuclear Street readers.  The AREVA blog is focused on energy issues and its activities in North America.  The blog focuses on energy issues and fosters discussions about combating climate change, increasing energy security, and improving economic growth. It also focuses on AREVA's solutions for clean power generation and electricity distribution in North America.

Under a special arrangement between AREVA and Nuclear Street, AREVA's blog now appears both on the company's corporate website and also on Nuclear Street.  The blog has its own special section and is available in its entirety to all Nuclear Street readers.

“We welcome the opportunity to work with Nuclear Street to offer a forum for discussion about energy issues and the important role that nuclear energy plays in meeting our nation’s demand for clean power,” said Jarret Adams, spokesman for AREVA.

The AREVA Blog – North America Pure Energy Blog is the first blog launched by a nuclear power company to communicate directly with the public, and one of the first by any energy company.

According to Nuclear Street Publisher Cam Abernethy, "AREVA is such a tremendous global force in the nuclear industry today that they are setting many standards for other nuclear companies to follow.  We are very excited to be featuring their content and making it available to our readers"

The blog will join a number of independent blogs in the growing energy and nuclear energy blogging community.

"There is a vibrant community of energy bloggers on the Internet," said Jacques Besnainou, President of AREVA Inc. "We're proud to add our voice to that community, and we're looking forward to a frank and fruitful conversation."
